Service Description

MULHADHARA is the first of 7 workshops in the series CHAKRA. CHAKRA is a Kundalini workshop space that encourages spiritual development and growth. Expect to activate and awaken your chakras, an ancient yogic system that belongs to the school of Tantric yoga. Working with the chakras is an emotional, spiritual and physical experience of uniting mind, body and spirit. In Kundalini yoga it is believed that dormant potential resides within you and every living being. This potential, also knows as Kundalini can be activated through Kundalini Kriyas, Mantra, Yantra, Mudra and Sacred Geometry. All of which we will explore and learn more about. What to expect on the day: 9:30 Welcome CHAKRA: MULHADHARA Intro 9:35- 10:45 Chakra Kundalini Class 10:45 - 11:00 Break (tea, snacks, toilet, garden walk) 11:00 - 11:20 Chakra talk and reflection 11:20 - 11:40 Chakra Awakening Kriyas 11:40 - 12:00 Pranayama and Affirmation Meditations 12:00 Close Harriet is an experienced yoga teacher, trained in Hatha and in Kundalini Yoga, she has been teaching on the esoteric for over 4 years. She is skilled in facilitating spaces of spiritual development, in particular the Lunar Circle for Women which she founded in 2019. She is knowledgeable but always speaks from the heart in a way that is relatable and accessible. Start Time 9:30 (arrive 10 minutes before to settle) End Time 12:00 Where: Church of the Ascension Hall, Pineapple Grove, B30 2TJ (The hall is the smaller building to the right when looking at the church.) Bring: Yoga mat, any props you like to use in your practice, a journal, and a bottle of water. Wearing layers is always a good idea as we can get warmer and cooler depending on activities! Please note Kundalini Yoga is not suitable for pregnancy.
